You and your family, especially your children, will enjoy a day in Hualien Ocean Park which is the biggest man made attraction in Hualien and Taiwan's first marine park. Your and your kids will have fun trying on the different rides this park has to offer like the traditional ferris wheel, carousel and other thrill seeking rides. Enjoy also the different performances being showcased inside the park like the dolphin shows and other attractions. The park has eight different zones to choose from so there will never be a dull moment for something is in store for everyone here irregardless of age. Hualien Ocean Park is open between 9 AM to 5 PM on Mondays to Fridays and between 8:30 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission price is 890 NT$ for adults and 790 NT$ for those under 19 which is worth every penny.

You could also ask your travel agent or you could check online for different packages on Hualien Ocean Park. These packages are inclusive of accomodation, transportation, certain meals, guide and admission tickets to the park. You can choose packages to suit every budget with a dormitory type of accomodation or a private room in a hotel. The Formosa Star (train) even offers a two day package that includes Hualien Ocean Park in its itinerary. The Taiwan Tour Bus also offers a Hualien Ocean Park day tour.
